The Packers fell to 1-1 last week with a 17-14 loss to the Vikings in Minnesota. Green Bay has now hit the under in six of its last seven games overall. The offense just hasn’t quite clicked yet, averaging only 295 yards per game right now. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for only 412 yards with three touchdowns in two games, but has a pair of turnovers as well. He is completing just 57 percent of his passes. The Green Bay run game also hasn’t improved, as they are averaging just 3.7 yards per carry as a team right now.

The Lions also fell to 1-1 last week after suffering a 16-15 loss at home to the Titans. The Lions were a mess in the game, committing 17 penalties in the loss. Detroit has been able to move the ball thus far, averaging 426.5 yards per game on offense, but the defense is giving up far too many yards. The Lions are allowing 422 yards per contest so far in 2016. The defense is also dealing with a lot of injuries as defensive end Ezekial Ansah is doubtful to play this week while LB DeAndre Levy is questionable.

The Packers haven’t been impressive on offense yet this year, but expect that to change on Sunday at home against the banged-up Lions defense. On the flip side, Detroit should be able to move the ball as well. Despite posting just 15 points last week, the Lions had three touchdowns called back by penalties. You’d have to think the Lions will be more disciplined this week after committing so many penalties last week. I think this game will be high scoring.
