One of the top matchups in Week 1 of the NFL season pits NFC North rivals against each other on Sunday Night Football. Will the new-look Chicago Bears cover as a road underdog versus the Green Bay Packers tonight at 8:20 p.m. ET?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Packers are 7-point favorites to beat the Bears. The total, meanwhile, sits at 46.5 points. As of this writing, 61% of the public betting tickets are on the Packers to cover the point spread.
Chicago Bears
Bears OLB Leonard Floyd (hand) is not listed on the injury report. Floyd practiced with a club on his broken hand on Monday, and it looks like he will be able to play with the cast in the season opener. "It’s just not being able to open my hand to, like, catch or break or something," Floyd said of the club. "Other than that, it’s OK." With Khalil Mack now in the fold, the Bears have the makings of a solid pass-rushing duo.
Green Bay Packers
Packers S Josh Jones (ankle) was limited on Wednesday. Coach Mike McCarthy said Jones will work with the rehab group on Thursday, so he might be listed as less than limited on the official injury report. It seems like Jones is trending the wrong direction for Week 1.
NFL Betting Trends
Chicago
The Bears are 5-11 against the spread 16 road games.
Green Bay
The Packers are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games played in Week 1.
Prediction
The Bears added one of the best defenders in the league in Khalil Mack and he’s going to have an immediate impact. It was vital that Chicago hang on to defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, as he’s one of the brighter defensive minds in the league. With Aaron Rodgers back, the Packers are legitimate Super Bowl contenders this year but I’m taking the points in this one. The Bears will be one of the most improved teams in the NFL.
