Colts vs. Steelers Prediction
Will the Colts and Steelers go over the betting total tonight when they meet at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Steelers are 6-point home favorites versus the Colts, who opened as a 4-point underdog. As for the total, the number hit the board at 41 but has been bet down to 40.5.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: The Colts fell to 0-2 in preseason play with a 24-19 loss to the Cowboys last week. Stephen Morris led the team in passing, completing 11-of-15 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. Marlon Mack, meanwhile, led the Colts in rushing with five carries for 45 yards.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS: The Steelers rallied last Sunday to beat the Falcons 17-13 and improve to 2-0 in preseason. Rookie Joshua Dobbs completed just 10-of-19 passes for 70 yards with one interception but James Conner stole the show, rushing 20 times for 98 yards. The rookie could have had an even bigger day had he not been tripped up a couple of times on what could have been long runs.

OUR PREDICTION: With Ben Roethlisberger expected to play today for the Steelers, I like the over. It's only the preseason but the Colts haven't stopped anyone their past two games and I don't expect them to slow down a Pittsburgh attack that is deep and explosive. I do worry about the Colts scoring enough to contribute, but perhaps the Steelers will get into the 30s tonight and does all the heavy lifting.
