The Bills suffered a 19-18 loss to the Colts at home last week. Buffalo outgained Indianapolis 372-274 in total yards, but the Bills gave up two long passing touchdowns in the loss. The rushing defense for Buffalo was solid, holding the Colts to just 30 yards on 23 carries. Tyrod Taylor had limited play in the game, going just 2-for-3 for 7 yards passing. However, Cardale Jones threw for 162 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 34 yards.

The Giants opened the preseason with a rough 27-10 loss to the Dolphins in New York. New York was held to 227 total yards and the Giants had four turnovers in the loss. While the Giants rushed for 158 yards as a team, quarterbacks Ryan Nassib and Logan Thomas were a combined 9-for-18 passing for just 69 yards. Nassib had three turnovers as well.

The Giants were a mess last week and this week isn’t likely to be much different. If Eli Manning even plays, it will be limited. Nassib and Thomas will face a very tough Buffalo defense. Look for more turnovers this week. Buffalo should also get some more plays from Cardale Jones, who showed promise last week.
