According to the oddsmakers at BetDSI, New England is favored to win today’s game, as the Patriots are getting odds of -3 points against the Falcons. The over/under total for the game is listed at 58 points. These two meet tonight on FOX at 6:30PM ET from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Bet on Super Bowl LI

The public wagers for today’s game are with the Patriots. New England is getting 65 percent of the current wagers as a 3-point favorite against the Falcons. A record number of bets are expected on tonight’s Super Bowl.

The experience factor of the Patriots is certainly playing a factor in the wagers. New England is playing in its seventh Super Bowl in the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick era. The Atlanta Falcons are in just their second Super Bowl in franchise history and first since 1999.

The intriguing matchup of the game is certainly the Falcons’ top-ranked offense against the Patriots’ top-ranked defense. However, fans probably trust the Patriots’ offense more than they do the Falcons’ defense. Atlanta is still somewhat unproven on that side of the ball while Brady and the New England offense averages 28.4 points per game. New England has also been great at the betting window this season, going 15-3 against the spread. The Falcons are no slouch, going 12-6 ATS. Atlanta was also 5-1 against the spread when an underdog.
