As previously noted, Hardman failed to do much of anything against Tennessee two weeks ago in the AFC title game. He recorded an eight-yard catch on what was actually a jet sweep, his lone touch of the game. Beyond that, Hardman drew a defensive pass inference penalty against cornerback Tremaine Brock on a 41-yard incompletion.

If we go beyond the AFC Championship Game, Hardman had two catches for 19 yards for the Chiefs in their win over the Texans in the Divisional round. He had more of an impact on special teams that day, producing a 58-yard kickoff return in the second quarter to help jumpstart the Chiefs in their comeback from down 24-points in the first half.

What is the best prop bet for Hardman in Super Bowl 54? I’m going with the under 1.5 receptions. While he did catch two passes versus Houston in the Divisional round, that was the first time he recorded more than two receptions in a game since Week 11 against the Chargers. In that game, he also finished with exactly two receptions. Thus, while he’ll finish with 1-2 catches tonight, the better bet is that he’ll make an impact on special teams and largely be held off the stat sheet when it comes to his receiving numbers.
