Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin

Speaking Thursday, Rams coach Sean McVay remained coy on Jared Goff's (thumb, questionable) status for the Wild Card Round. "We are going to work through that and we will see on Saturday," was McVay's response when asked if Goff would start against the Seahawks. The coach did note that Goff "recovered without a problem from Wednesday" and did "everything asked Thursday." The Los Angeles Times reports Goff "showed no problem gripping the ball or passing" on Thursday. Goff said he is "progressing well" and not having problems with snaps from under center. It would seem as if Goff is on the right side of his questionable tag, but nothing can be assumed with a quarterback thumb injury.

Seattle Seahawks DFS Spin

Russell Wilson completed 20-of-36 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns in Seattle's 26-23 Week 17 win against the 49ers. Seattle arrived asleep at the wheel again, averaging just 3.3 yards per play through the first half and three total yards in the third quarter. The lightbulb came on for Wilson over the last 15 minutes as he scrambled around to find Tyler Lockett for two fourth-quarter touchdowns. Alex Collins ran up the middle with 1:54 remaining to put a stamp on the team's 21-0 run. It was an encouraging finish ahead of the Wild Card round since the Seahawks had shown minimal signs of life on offense in the month prior to that stretch. The Seahawks will host the Rams in the first round of the NFL postseason.

Rams vs. Seahawks Betting Prediction

The under is 15-7 in the last 22 meetings between these two teams, is 7-3 in the Rams’ last 10 games played in the month of January and is 8-2 in their last 10 conference games. The under is also 5-1 in the Rams’ last six divisional matchups, is 4-0 in their last four games and has cashed in six of their last seven games coming off a win.

On the other side, the under is 4-0 in the Seahawks’ last four home games, is 7-1 in their last eight games overall and is 6-1 in their last six conference games. The under is also 4-0 in their last four games when listed as a home favorite and 4-1 in their last five games coming off a win.
