The Lions enter play today with a 6-9 record and are also 6-9 against the spread, while the Bears are also 6-9 straight up but 8-7 at the betting window. Sixty-four percent of public bettors are currently backing Detroit at the betting window today.

For whatever reason, the Bears have been a poor home bet this season. In their seven games played at Solider Field this year, the Bears are 2-5 against the spread and have lost by an average margin of -6.4 points. They've also failed to cover the number by a -5.8 margin at home as well.
After scoring just 14 points against a stout Rams defense three weeks ago, the Lions racked up 35 and 32 points against the Saints and 49ers, respectively, the past two weeks. With the Bears allowing an average of 24.9 points per game this season, the Lions should find the end zone again plenty today and find a way to finish the season with a victory.
