According to oddsmakers at, Penn State is favored at home in this game, as the Nittany Lions are getting odds of -25.5 points against Nebraska. The over/under total has been set at 55.5 points. Nebraska has won four straight meetings with Penn State, but the Nittany Lions are 2-1-2 against the spread in their last five with the Huskers. The public is currently putting 67 percent of the wagers on Penn State at home. Today’s game takes place from Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania and will air live on FS1.

Penn State is coming off a 35-6 win over Rutgers at home to snap a two-game losing streak. The Nittany Lions are 8-2 on the season and 5-2 in the Big Ten. Penn State is 6-3-1 against the spread this season but the Nittany Lions have failed to cover in their last two games. Penn State is averaging 37.7 points and 429.6 yards per game on offense this season. Trace McSorley has thrown for 2,666 yards and 21 touchdowns this season while also rushing for 349 yards and nine touchdowns. Saquon Barkley has run for 899 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also has 40 catches for 524 yards. DaeSean Hamilton is the leading receiver with 39 catches for 646 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, Penn State is allowing just 13.9 points and 318.3 yards per contest.

Nebraska is coming off a 54-21 loss at Minnesota last week to fall to 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the Big Ten. The Cornhuskers are just 3-7 against the spread this season, but all three covers have come on the road. Nebraska is struggling on defense, allowing 32.5 points and 412 yards per game, including 200 rushing yards per contest. Offensively, the Huskers average 25.1 points and 388.7 yards per game. Tanner Lee has thrown for 2,539 yards and 18 touchdowns with 13 interceptions. Lee left the last game with a concussion, but reports have him suiting up this weekend. JD Spielman and Stanley Morgan Jr. are his top receivers, as the two have combined for 1,461 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.

After seeing Nebraska struggle in recent games, it’s hard to see the Huskers competing on the road with Penn State. The Nittany Lions have been pretty strong at home and Nebraska is just 1-6-1 ATS in its last eight games after a loss. Penn State is 9-1-2 ATS in its last 12 at home and 12-3-1 ATS in its last 16 conference games. Look for the Nittany Lions to continue to beat up on lesser competition.
