Are the visiting Atlanta Hawks going to upset the Orlando Magic tonight when they meet at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Magic are a 6-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under sits at 217 points.

Atlanta comes in at 5-18-1 overall and 10-12-1 ATS after a 110-90 home loss to the Nets. Orlando comes in at 10-15 overall and 11-13-1 ATS following a 104-94 loss at the Hornets. The four meetings last season went 2-2 straight up and 2-2 ATS. The under went 3-1.

The Hawks were led by Dennis Schroder with 19 points, five rebounds and four assists in the loss to Brooklyn. Kent Bazemore tallied 13 points, five rebounds and two steals. DeAndre' Bembry added 13 points, three boards and two assists off the bench. Atlanta was outscored 57-36 in the second half.

Orlando was paced by Evan Fournier with 18 points, three rebounds and two assists in the defeat at Charlotte. Jonathon Simmons contributed 15 points and six assists. Aaron Gordon added 14 points, six rebounds and three assists. The Magic were outscored 29-20 in the fourth quarter.

The under is 39-15 in the last 54 meetings. Orlando is 6-0-1 ATS in its last seven Wednesday games.

Bet on Hawks vs. Magic

Atlanta is very beat up in the interior with John Collins and Dwayne Dedmon among the players out with injury. But if the Hawks can push the pace effectively, they can turn this into a competitive basketball game. Schroder has one of the highest usage rates in the NBA and has the ability to go for 30-plus points on any given night. I think he goes off in this game. Just a hunch.
