Brooklyn Nets DFS Notes
Kevin Durant led the Nets past the Celtics Tuesday night with a line of 26 points (8-of-12 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, four blocks and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes as the Nets cruised to a 2-0 lead after an easy 130-108 win. After winning the series opener by 11 points Saturday night, Brooklyn made short work of the Celtics to win Game 2 and Durant was a big reason for that, as he did a better job of attacking the Boston defense in the paint. Shooting just 1-of-8 from three in Game 1, KD made both of his attempts Tuesday night, instead choosing to make his living inside of the arc and at the foul line. Add in the full stat line, and Durant had a better all-around showing in Game 2 than he did in Game 1. The same can be said for James Harden, who finished with 20 points (6-of-12 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes. Brooklyn will look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead Friday night in Boston.
Boston Celtics DFS Notes
Jayson Tatum (eye) was a full participant in Thursday's practice and he'll be good to go for Game 3 on Friday vs. Brooklyn. Tatum left Tuesday's blowout loss after getting poked in the eye by Kevin Durant, but we were never anticipating that to result in a multi-game absence. We'll be removing Tatum from our injury report for Game 3, and those in playoff fantasy leagues can feel confident deploying him tomorrow night.
