Sunday's NBA DFS Prediction
It’s Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals tonight between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics. Which players should be in your NBA Daily Fantasy roster?
In a single game format on DraftKings, players get to selection six options at any position with a $50,000 budget. The winning total from Game 6 was a lofty 231.5 points. Here’s our six picks for Game 7.
Cavs’ LeBron James, $20,000: While not ideal that you have to spend 2/5 of your salary on one guy, LeBron is virtually certain to dominate tonight. It’s a Game 7 and the Cavs are without Kevin Love due to a concussion. If the Cavs are going to go down, LeBron won’t go down without a fight.
Celtics’ Jaylen Brown, $12,300: Brown has been a steady scoring option for Boston and he had a great Game 1 and Game 2 at home. With everything at stake, I see Brown stepping up for Boston tonight and leading them in the scoring department.
Cavs’ Larry Nance Jr., $5,900: With Love out, Nance is likely to see more playing time in Game 7. He logged 22 minutes in Game 6 and turned that into 10 points and 7 rebounds. I think he gets even more production tonight.
Cavs’ Jeff Green, $5,200: Nobody saw more of an increase in playing time than Green, as he logged 31 minutes after Love left the floor. He should see a lot of playing time tonight and I think he can be a great scoring option for the Cavs tonight.
Cavs’ Kyle Korver, $3,700: Korver is the 3-point shooting ace for Cleveland and they will need some timely shots tonight. He also saw increased minutes in Game 6 and should log over 20 minutes tonight and get his chance to make a difference at the arc.
Cavs’ J.R. Smith, $2,800: Smith hasn’t been a great option in this series at Boston, but he is still logging a lot of minutes. With LeBron costing so much, you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to fill this roster. Smith has a very cheap price for a guy that is going to play a lot of minutes. He has the chance to really outperform his value.
