Michael Porter Jr. scored 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting (6-of-10 3PT) and added six rebounds, one assist, two steals, and five turnovers in Tuesday’s win. Entering Tuesday, Porter Jr. was averaging 24.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game on 58.2 percent shooting from the floor and 48.7 percent shooting from three in the month of May. He had also scored at least 15 points in 33 consecutive games, and was looking to make it 34. Porter knocked that off his bucket list after just one quarter as the 6-foot-10 inch forward had 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor and 3-of-4 shooting from three. The knock on Porter Jr. tonight was obviously the turnovers, especially with just one assist. He'll have to be better with the ball going forward.

Minnesota Timberwolves DFS Notes

Karl-Anthony Towns hit 10-of-19 shots and four 3-pointers for 28 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals in 34 minutes of Tuesday's wire-to-wire 119-100 win over the Pistons. Props to KAT for finishing the season strong, although he didn't have a block tonight. Anthony Edwards had 22 points, Ricky Rubio had 19 points, five dimes and a full stat line, and D'Angelo Russell added 15 points, five boards, 10 dimes and three 3-pointers in the win. If the Wolves can keep this crew together and build over the summer they could be a much better team next season.

Nuggets vs. Timberwolves Game Prediction

The Nuggets are 21-4-1 against the spread in their last 26 games in Minnesota but are just 2-5 against the number in their last seven games versus the Timberwolves overall. They’re also 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games and are 1-4 against the number in their last five games overall.
