Grizzlies vs. Nets Pick
611 Memphis Grizzlies at 612 Brooklyn Nets, 7:30PM ET
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Nets are listed as a 6-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 211 points.
Brooklyn opened as a 5-point favorite on the spread line, while the total sits at 212 points. The spread is at -6.5 at most books, while the line is either at 210 or 210.5 but can be found at 211.
As of Monday afternoon, 57 percent of public bets have sided with the Nets. Online wager info also says that 53 percent of bets are being placed on the over.
INJURY TO WATCH
Memphis is finally getting healthier as point guard Andrew Harrison (wrist) is the only questionable player tonight. As you know, point guard Mike Conley Jr. (Achilles) is out for the season. For Brooklyn, shooting guard Allen Crabbe (illnes) is probable. Power forward Dante Cunningham (brain injury) is out.
The Grizzlies actually looked like a formidable basketball team last team with most of their roster back in action, ending a 19-game losing streak with a 101-94 home win over the Nuggets. Brooklyn won the first meeting this season by a count of 98-88 in Memphis, but I think this spread is a bit too high considering the Grizzlies are healthy now. The Nets are young and prone to inconsistency, so I could see them laying a dud here.
