Will the Celtics stay hot at the betting window when they host the Pistons tonight at 8:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Celtics are 7-point home favorites versus the Pistons for tonight's game. As for this writing, the line has not moved. Boston enters play with a 29-18 record overall and is 15-8 at home, while Detroit is 21-26 overall and 9-16 on the road.

The Pistons have now dropped back-to-back games, with loses coming at home versus the Kings and at Miami. In their 116-103 loss to the Heat, Reggie Jackson scored 24 points while Andre Drummond racked up 17 points and grabbed 20 rebounds. It was the 25th game of Drummond's career where he notched 20-plus rebounds. He was 8-of-15 from the field and 1-of-3 from the line with one assist as well.

The Celtics continued their strong play with a 112-108 victory at Milwaukee on Saturday. It was Boston's third straight win after dropping three straight in the three games prior. In the win over the Bucks, Isaiah Thomas scored 37 points with three rebounds, eight assists, one steal and six 3-pointers. Amir Johnson also scored 11 points with seven boards, two assists and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes of play.

OUR PREDICTION: The Pistons have dropped four of their last five games at the betting window and are just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games overall. The Celtics, meanwhile, are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games, are 8-1-2 at the betting window in their last 11 games playing on one day of rest, and are 6-1-1 against the number in their last five games coming off a win.
