Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Mavericks are 9.5-point favorites to beat the Suns. The total, meanwhile, sits at 219.5 points and as of this writing, 56% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Mavericks to cover the point spread.

Phoenix Suns Fantasy Spin

Devin Booker (back) will not play on Tuesday vs. the Kings. Coach Kokoskov called him questionable less than an hour ago, but his doubtful tag on the injury report never changed. He'll be day-to-day going forward, but the Suns will be super cautious like they always have if he's not 100 percent. Josh Jackson will draw the start and is worth a look for his counting stats (beware of his percentages/turnovers), Deandre Ayton and T.J. Warren will get a bump in usage and De'Anthony Melton will be a sneaky streamer.

Dallas Mavericks Fantasy Spin

DeAndre Jordan accounted for ten points (2-of-3 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), 19 rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals in 33 minutes Monday vs. the Lakers. Jordan's three field goal attempts are the least he's had in a game since New Year's Eve, when he took just two shots in a loss to the Thunder. While the first-year Maverick is averaging just 8.0 points per game over his last five, he is also producing 13.0 rebounds per during that stretch. And with his foul shooting no longer a liability, Jordan is a fantasy asset even with his scoring output being slightly lower than what he produced as a member of the Clippers last season (12.0 ppg).

NBA Betting Trends

Phoenix

The Suns are 6-0 against the spread in their last six games versus a team with a losing straight up record.

Dallas

The Mavericks are 32-13 against the number in their last 45 games following an ATS loss.

Prediction

The Suns are a perfect 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games versus the Mavericks, are 4-0 against the number in their last four trips to Dallas and the underdog is 5-0 at the betting window in the last five meetings between these two teams. Despite their issues, the Suns are also 5-0 against the spread in their last five road games and have covered in six of their last eight games coming off an ATS win.

Wednesday NBA Prediction: Phoenix Suns +9.5
