Saturday NCAA Football POWER SYSTEM

In this week's NCAA FootballPOWER SYSTEM we investigate a situation that is exclusive to Game 3. Teams finally getting home off 2 respectable road losses to start the season have been very “live” as underdogs, as revealed by this PRO INFO SPORTS POWER SYSTEM which states:

In Game 3, play ON a home underdog of less than 25 points off 2 road SU losses of less than 46 combined points vs. an opponent not off a home favorite ATS win of 30+ points.

These dogs are a perfect 13-0 ATS since at least 1980. That's as far as our NCAA Football database goes, so it could very well be even better than that. Not only have these underdogs covered the spread by nearly 2 TDs a game on average, they have won 8 of the last 9 qualifying games outright.

Last year, Central Florida was active as a "Play ON" team against Marshall. As 3-point home underdogs, the Golden Knights beat the Thundering Herd, 23-13.

This year, we have TWO teams that qualify for this situation. Vanderbilt and Florida International are both underdogs in their home openers on Saturday. Both teams are off 2 road losses in which they allowed less than 46 combined points. Neither team is facing an opponent that is off a huge spread at home. These parameters qualify Vanderbilt and Florida International as Play ON teams for this PRO INFO SPORTS NCAA Football POWER SYSTEM.
