this is just a thought...
i think a lot of us liked having the free service plays in the forum...i understand its a bit of extra work, but if needed i'm sure someone would volunteer to post them in here. one reason i'd like them back in here is b/c i'd like to be able to see who picked what on days past. i'd like to be able to know who ...say...maxwell or ats picked yesterday and see what their % was...could help in picking the following day..? just a thought...just know a lot of us liked them in here
I am trying to get a happy medium. I worked all last night trying to get the forum framed and the rest of my site to accept it. That way you will be able to have the forum page but have access to the nav bar like all the other pages to flip back and forth between the two with more ease. I have a small problem but once I get it fixed everything should look and work fine.
Because I'm not an asshole and I want to be honest with you guys I am going to tell it like it is. Without controlled access to the board (i.e. the guest feature being enabled), I can't post the actual play set on the board.
This is why.....
I'm sure that most of you have noticed that you can't right-click or highlight anything on the service plays page accept the active links. Reason for this is because I installed a piece of software that provides those features.
The site is free. I want it free, I want it to stay free and I think that what I provide shouldn't come with a price-tag. First and foremost those service plays aren't free. I have to pay for some and trade for others. I do that because people want them and I like having them. With that being said let me explain the rest. To keep the site free I need to draw loot from somewhere. The somewhere for me is through advertising dollars. But advertisers aren't going to pay you if nobody visits your site. Hence the service plays. My site is nothing spectacular. Nothing you can get here you can't get 1000 other places on the web and most of it is probably better then what I have. Everything except the service plays!!!
So, if I allow those plays to get out then the site goes away and so do the plays. Because if you cut and paste the plays and mail them to your pals or post them at other boards then people don't come to my site anymore, the advertising is not seen and then I have no money and I can't buy the plays and can't pay my host and then I have to shut it down. WHEW!
But that is about it. I am going to make it easier for you to go from the board to the plays but with the guest feature enabled I can't post them here anymore.
I hope you feel where I am coming from on this. I would like to do everything for everyone but reality dictates that I just can't.

No, it's no problem at all. I really appreciate your understanding actually. And it's not you guys I am worried about. But with the guest feature turned on anybody just crusing by can just snatch all the plays and that's it, all over. That is why I put that code on in the first place. My report was showing up all over the place.
But like I said, I want to make it easier for you guys to flip back and forth.Once I get the bugs worked out you will be able to do that. If there is anything you need or don't like just let me know. I will do everything I can to get you what you want. This site is for you guys, not me!

sorry mr cash! it was my fault to start that. at my work i cant see the site but this board shows up. I understand. Also if everyone one this board signs up for a service and give u the plays that way u dont have to buy it. the reason i buy some service is so that i can get the plays on time. i also have ats and sometime, (a site i no longer use) people are posting the wrong plays. if i can help let me know.

Everything is cool, I just didn't want to bullshit you as to why I wasn't going to put them on the board. If you ask me something, I'll tell you like it is. No reason to lie or be shady like I know some other sites are. I just want to protect our stuff and make sure we are around and getting better for years to come!
Once I get the frames straightend out everything should look a little better and be a bit easier to navigate for you all
