Monday comp play is the Under in the Falcons-Seahawks game.

Atlanta is fresh off an Under last week at home versus Dallas, as the Falcons head to the Emerald City having played their last pair of games, and 5 of their last 6 overall Under the posted price.

Seattle is also off an Under their last time on the gridiron, as they held Under in Arizona to make it 4 of their last 5 games Under the total.

Both teams are 6-3 Under for the season, and with the weather expected to be a little bit on the wet side of things, I think we are going to see a game that does not feature very many risky plays.

Look for this Monday nighter to hold Under the total tonight.

4* ATLANTA-SEATTLE UNDER

The Cavs are on the road in Detroit to take on the Detroit Pistons tonight.

Cleveland is starting to gel as they won their fourth straight game by downing the Clippers 118-113 in overtime at home Friday night. Detroit had lost two straight heading into yesterday's win against Minnesota.

Detroit should be feeling the effects of playing the second game of a back to back, and remember they’ve struggled lately, losing to the Bucks and blowing a big lead in the loss to Indiana.

Cleveland, on the other hand, has had two days of rest after winning their fourth straight game. There is no doubt that the Cavaliers come into this game both well-rested and with the momentum. Look for Detroit to be fatigued from playing their third game in four nights as Cleveland takes advantage and gets the win and cover.

3* CLEVELAND

My free play for Monday is on the Orlando Magic against the Indiana Pacers.

The worst thing the Pacers could have done was win the way they did in Miami last night. On the heels of a 120-95 victory over the Heat, Indiana has won four of five since losing four in a row, and could fall flat on the second of back-to-back nights.

During the Pacers' run, they're averaging 108.6 points on 48.2 shooting while yielding 102.6 points per game.

Tonight they'll take on an Orlando team that averaged 114.9 points on hit 48.9 percent from the field, including 44.2 percent from 3-point range, before seeing those numbers dip over its last eight games. Now, the Magic are scoring 99.6 on 44.5 shooting, including a mere 34 percent from long-raange.

If there were ever a game the Magic could get right, it's this one, against a team ripe for a let down.

Take the home team.

5* MAGIC

My free play is on the Oklahoma City Thunder, laying a cheap number against the New Orleans Pelicans - whether or not Anthony Davis plays.

The Pelicans have allowed 135.5 points per contest in the past two games, and tonight host an OKC team that will be looking to blow off some steam after it blew a 23-point lead against San Antonio on Friday night and lost 104-101.

The Thunder also surrendered an 18-point lead to the Boston Celtics in a 101-94 home loss on Nov. 3, so there is plenty of frustration on the one team many believed was poised to challenge the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.

Thunder coach Billy Donovan is 6-1 lifetime against New Orleans, and I think he'll have the troops ready to roll - and finish strong - against the Pelicans.

3* THUNDER

Let's keep this 18-6 win streak rolling tonight, as my free play is on the Washington Capitals over the Calgary Flames.

The Capitals responded to back-to-back road losses by opening their three-game home stand with a 3-1 win over the Minnesota Wild. And the same way we saw them bounce from a 5-7 start to the season, by winning five of their next six, we're about to see the Caps thrive back home.

Calgary arrives in the midst of a six-game home stand, after losing 8-2 in Detroit last Wednesday, and then beating Philadelphia, 5-4 on Saturday.

I'm banking on the Flames coming in flat with their third road game in six nights, and Washington to use its scoring prowess to pull away late.

1* CAPITALS

Wizards vs. Bucks
Play: Bucks -4½

The Bucks were bounced badly in Dallas on Saturday by 30+ points. that loss sets them up in a nice system that plays on home teams with rest that are off a 21+ point spread loss as a road favorite of 5 or more if they scored 80 or less points. These teams rebound to cover 83% over the last 22 years. Washington is in off a road loss last night and has no rest the first time they are unrested all year. Look for the Bucks to give the Wizards the Horns tonight.

Cavs at Pistons
Play: Cavs -2

Tyronn Lue's Cavaliers are starting to jell, as they are currently on a 4 game win streak. The victories have not been over powering, but they are getting the job done, behind a veteran crew that prefers a methodical game plan rather than a fast paced run and gun style game. After their recent come from behind victory vs the LA Clippers, key veteran Dwayne Wade said, "We're one of the oldest teams in the league. We're not built for all of this," Wade said. "We're built for when the game slows down -- and late in games, the game slows down, and that's kind of when we're at our best." Tonight against a Motown group on tired legs as they play back to back after playing last night, I'm betting the tempo will be to the Cavaliers liking and give them a much needed edge. Detroit won a close grueling tilt last night, 100-97 score at Minnesota. Note: NBA teams where the line is +3 to -3 like DETROIT- off a road win by 3 points or less, playing on back-to-back days are 5-24 ATS L/5 seasons for a 83% conversion rate for bettors. DETROIT is 10-22 ATS L/32 when the line is +3 to -3 . CLEVELAND is 13-4 ATS L/17 road games when playing only their 2nd game in 5 days.DETROIT is 18-33 ATS L/51 after covering 4 or 5 of their last 6 against the spread. Play on the Cleveland Cavs to cover

Seattle (+1) over Atlanta

Too many key injuries on both sides for us to release Seattle to the Steam Team. Seattle will be missing Cam Chancellor & Richard Sherman on defense while Atlanta will be without ace running back Devonta Freeman. Line move from Seattle -3 to +1 has overcompensated for Seahawks defensive losses. Atlanta can’t be trusted and had not covered in 6 weeks before clobbering what’s left of the Cowboys last week. Seattle has not been a dog at home in 4 years and that was against New England. Falcons far from the Patriots so let’s take the banged up Hawks to fly high at home!
