NBA (511) SAN ANTONIO SPURS VS (512) DENVER NUGGETS

Take: (512) DENVER NUGGETS

Reason: Your free play for Tuesday, February 13, 2018 is in the NBA contest between the San Antonio Spurs and the Denver Nuggets. Spurs had to play yesterday in Utah and now tonight come right back in another high altitude city, Denver. This high altitude is tough on teams playing just one game. Spurs lost by 12 at Utah yesterday, 99-101. They are just 2-6 ATS in this same spot the last eight tries. Denver has covered five of their last six games. I like Denver here tonight as they catch the Spurs in the second of a back-to-back spot. Play Denver

NCAA-B | Oklahoma vs Texas Tech
Play on: Texas Tech -7 -103 at pinnacle

Jack’s Free Pick Tuesday: Texas Tech -7

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are 21-4 this season. They are in first place in the Big 12 and primed to dethrone Kansas atop the standings for the first time in more than a decade. They own a 9-3 record in what has arguably been the strongest conference in the country.

But what I want to focus on here is the home/away splits for Texas Tech and Oklahoma. The Red Raiders are 15-0 at home this season and outscoring opponents by 20.3 points per game on average. They will certainly be motivated to keep that unbeaten home record alive tonight and will be out for revenge from a 75-65 loss at Oklahoma in their first meeting this season.

Oklahoma is 0-6 SU & 0-6 ATS in its last six road games. Four of the six losses have come by 7 or more points. The Sooners are really struggling to live up to the expectations that one-man show Trae Young set for this team in the non-conference. The Sooners are just 1-8 ATS in their last nine games overall.

Texas Tech is 6-0 ATS after allowing 65 points or less in two straight games this season. The Sooners are 0-6 ATS in their last six road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Home-court advantage has been huge in this series as the home team is a perfect 7-0 ATS in the last seven meetings. Bet Texas Tech Tuesday.

NCAA-B | Miami-OH vs Eastern Michigan
Play on: Eastern Michigan -4 -110 at BMaker

Free Pick on Eastern Michigan -

I'm recommending laying the points with Eastern Michigan at home against Miami (OH). The Eagles style of play has had a lot of success against the Red Hawks recently. They went on the road and beat Miami 58-48 back on Jan. 27th. Eastern Michigan has now won 5 straight in the series with each of the last 3 coming by double-digits.

Some might think there's major revenge in play for the Red Hawks, but they are just 12-25 ATS in their last 37 when revenging a loss, where they lost the last game as a home favorite. The Eagles also have a solid home court edge for a small-conference team. Eastern Michigan is 10-3 at home on the season, where they are outscoring opponents by more than 10 ppg. Eagles are also 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs a team with a losing road record.

It's also worth noting that Eastern Michigan comes in off a loss and this team has responded well after defeat. The Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 off a SU loss. Take Eastern Michigan!

NCAA-B | Boston College vs Pittsburgh
Play on: Pittsburgh +6 -105 at BMaker

Well hold your breathe here on this one. Yes, Pitt hasn't won a game yet in conference play, but this is one they should be up for and believe they have a chance to win. Boston College in no way should be favored on the especially by this much. Boston College is just 2-8 on the road this season and are coming off a big over Miami setting up the let down spot here. I know Pitt is terrible I'm not making that case, I just think they give great effort here in a game they believe they can win.

NBA | Hawks vs Bucks
Play on: Hawks +7½ -105 at 5Dimes

Atlanta +7.5

This is too many points to give Atlanta on Tuesday.

The Hawks offense should be able to keep up here and keep this thing close throughout.

Atlanta is averaging 104 points per game, which just .4 less than the Bucks have put up this season. The Hawks have also played much more competitive as of late, as they're proving to be much more aggressive.

Along with that, Bucks PF John Henson has been battling a hamstring injury, which may force him either out on Tuesday, or at least to play at under 100%.

Some trends to note. Bucks are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Bucks are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest.

Grab the points.

Back Atlanta.

Good Luck, Razor Ray.

NHL | Lightning vs Sabres
Play on: Lightning -175 at 5Dimes

DMack's Free Play for Tuesday, February 13, 2018 is on the Tampa Bay Lightning

I've watched more hockey this year than in any of my 30+ years in the business and I can say unequivocally that the Tampa Bay Lightning are the best team in the NHL this year. They lead the league in points and while they been somewhat "flat" at 7-3 over their L10, they should easily handle a Buffalo Sabre outfit that they've beaten nine of ten and have won five straight on Buffalo home ice. Even at 75 cents we have value thanks to the Bolts losing two of three on the road. It should be well over -200. Take Tampa Bay.

Tommy Brunson

t's Patrick Ewing's show now at Georgetown, but while Coach Thompson is now calling the games from the broadcast booth, the Hoyas consistent pattern of playing the underdog in their games has remained.

The underdog in the Hoyas games has covered 5 straight and 9 of the last 12. That is a streak that stretches back to the first meeting against tonight's opponent. Back on December 27th, the Hoyas lost a home overtime game to the Bulldogs by just a basket as the +4 point pooch that night.

Butler will be looking to snap a 2-game losing streak, as they dropped a tough one last Tuesday in overtime at home to Xavier, then lead for a long while in their Saturday road loss at Villanova by 11-points.

True, the Bulldogs are a money-making 10-3 against the spread at Hinkle Field House this season, but the Hoyas do counter with a solid 7-1 road spread mark of their own.

This series has seen the visitor win outright in 4 straight and 7 of the last 10, and the road team is also on a 6-2 run against the spread.

Based on those trends, this is just too many points to give to Georgetown here on Tuesday.

2* GEORGETOWN
