NCAA-B | NC-Greensboro vs Gonzaga
Play on: UNDER 136 +101

Two very good defensive teams will keep this a lower scoring game. UNCG comes in with the 29th most efficient defense in the nation while Gonzaga ranks 16th in the same category. Greensboro led the Southern Conference in scoring defense allowing just 62 PPG on the season. The Zags allowed just 67 PPG on the season. Both teams have locked down opponents even more so as of late with each holding their last 5 opponents under 39% from the field. The Zags have allowed only one of their last eleven opponents to reach 70 points while UNCG has allowed just two of their last twelve opponents to reach 70 points. Tempo will be key here and we’ve found that the slower paced team normally gets the pace they want. UNCG knows for them to have a chance, this game cannot be a shootout. They don’t have the offensive firepower so Greensboro, who sits at 319th in tempo, will do everything they can to make this a slow paced game. Gonzaga can play either way so while they’ll try and run when they can, they can play in the half court as well. We anticipate a grinder type game in this one that stays in the high 120’s range for total points. Take the UNDER.

NCAA-B | Loyola-Chicago vs Miami-FL
Play on: Miami-FL -127 at 5Dimes

Loyola Chicago vs Miami Free Pick March 15, 2018

With all do respect to the Ramblers, and I do think they are a really solid team ... they just aren't of the same caliber of an ACC team that won 22 games. The Hurricanes finished with an 11-7 record in the ACC.. you know who else had an 11-7 record? How about defending national champions North Carolina. The Canes came into the ACC Tournament on a four game winning streak, and that included a 91-88 win over the Tar Heels at Chapel Hill. You will have to forgive me for wondering how a team that can go into North Carolina and stun the Tar Heels is just barely favored over an unranked opponent from the Missouri Valley. In previous seasons, we've seen teams from this league make a lot of noise in the tournament, but things have changed. Wichita State moved to the AAC, and Northern Iowa had a brutal season winning only 16 games. This year's Missouri Valley Conference Champion isn't cut from the same cloth as those previously mentioned teams. The Canes have covered in four of their last five against Missouri Valley teams, and they are 5-2 ATS in their last seven non conference games. I'll take the favorite here in this first round matchup.

Take MIA.

GL,

Jesse Schule

NCAA-B | NC State vs Seton Hall
Play on: Seton Hall -2½ -101 at 5Dimes

DMack's Free Play for Thursday, March 15, 2018 is on the Seton Hall Pirates

This is a veteran Seton Hall squad that is very good and also very unlucky. The Pirates have lost six of 10 but three were by a point or in overtime. The Hall was 10-2 outside the Big East and that included a two-point loss to Louisville, also ACC. NC State was just 5-4 down the stretch and starts a Fr and Soph at guard. This Hall core nucleus has been around and that includes winning a Big East tournament. The Big East is 17-12 L19 vs ACC in the Dance and the fave 11-8 in the 8-9 the last couple of years. Take Seton Hall.

NCAA-B | College of Charleston vs Auburn
Play on: College of Charleston +10½ -109 at pinnacle

Ricky's Free play on the Charleston Cougars +11 :

Key Angle: It's important to remember that Ricky never makes a bet on any game based on just one angle. In order to make the grade, all his premium picks must meet several important criteria. He doesn't share all his secrets within his analysis, instead he chooses to reveal only the angle that he feels is the most significant. In tonight's game there's no doubt that the loss of sophomore forward Anfernee McLemore is particularly significant for Auburn. He was injured on February 17, after playing just 13 minutes in a loss at South Carolina. Since the injury the Tigers have lost four of six games (including the loss to the Gamecocks). Two of the last three times these teams have played each other, the game was decided by four points.

Key Trends:

- The Cougars are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win.

- The Tigers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.

- The Cougars are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games versus teams with a winning up record.

Verdict: Take Charleston +11

NCAA-B | New Mexico State vs Clemson
Play on: Clemson -4½ -107 at 5Dimes

This is a 1* Free Play on Clemson.

The New Mexico State Aggies finished 28-5 overall, while the Clemson Tigers were 23-9. Clemson was 11-7 in the ACC and was knocked out in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament by eventual winner Virginia. New Mexico State locked down the No. 1 spot in the regular season and then also grabbed the WAC tournament title for the auto bid to The Big Dance. New Mexico State has won six in a row entering the NCAA Tournament and it ranks fifth nationally in opposing field-goal percentage (39.2) and rebounding margin (9.1), but we still don’t think it’ll be enough against the Tigers. Clemson is ranked 35th in the country defensively in opposing field goal percentage and its 29th in blocked shots per game (4.9.) Note as well that New Mexico State is a poor 1-4 ATS in its last five NCAA Tournament contests and only 4-10 ATS in its last 14 following an ATS victory, while Clemson is 5-0 ATS in its last five non-conference contests and 4-1 ATS in its last five neutral site affairs. We think the battle hardened ACC powerhouse has the advantage here. Consider laying the points on the TIGERS.
