Stanford vs. Colorado

I'm recommending a play on Colorado minus the points on Sunday. Colorado is 10-2 at home and 8-3-1 ATS and the Buffaloes have won and covered against Stanford eight times in a row. Colorado comes off two wins over Utah and California while holding them to a combined .359 field goal percentage. McKinley Wright leads the Buffaloes with a 14.7 scoring average and George King adds 13.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Stanford has lost its last three road games by an average of 12 points, including 75-60 at Utah on Thursday. The Cardinal made just 19 of 53 shot attempts against Utah and allowed the Utes to shoot 50 percent from the field. Colorado has covered four straight following an ATS loss and nine of its last 11 against teams with winning records. We're recommending a play on Colorado on Sunday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

Pistons vs. Hawks
My 1* Free Pay is on the Atlanta Hawks (3:35 EST).
Detroit comes in off a 108-95 win at home over the Clippers on Friday to snap a five game win streak, while ATL lost its second in a row with a 123-107 setback at home to Cleveland on Friday.
Note that this is a revenge game for the home side, which has dropped three straight in the series, including both this year, most recently a 105-91 setback on December 14th.
Despite their recent success after the Blake Griffin trade, the Pistons comes into this one averaging just 103.2 PPG this season, while conceding 103.1. Griffin averages 22.4 points, 7.9 boards and 5.5 assists per game, while Reggie Jackson adds 14.6 points and 5.5 assists per night.
Atlanta averages 103.7 PPG and it concedes 107.9. Dennis Schroder leads the nightly charge with 19.5 points and 6.3 assists per game. Note that Schroder most recently poured in 25 points in his team’s most recent setback.
Additionally I’ll point out that Detroit is just 4-5 ATS this year after playing three consecutive home games, while ATL is 4-2 ATS in its last six trying to revenge a home loss against an opponent and 8-5 ATS after allowing 115 points or more.
With a game at home tomorrow night against New Orleans, it’s not too hard to imagine the visiting side in some small way getting caught “looking past” its lowly opponent tonight.
While I wouldn’t be shocked by an outright upset obviously, I will in the end recommend grabbing as many points as you can. Consider a second look at the Hawks in this matchup.
