I'm recommending a play on the UNDER in Monday's NBA action that has the 76ers hosting the Hornets. I think we are seeing a big overreaction here with this number. These two teams just played 13 days ago and combined for 242 points in a 128-114 Philadelphia win at Charlotte. The total for that game was just 214.
While that game flew over the mark, we are seeing a total a full 9-points higher. Keep in mind both teams shot lights out in that last meeting. The 76ers shot 58% from the field and 49% from long distance. The Hornets shot 50% from the field and 38% from deep. It's highly unlikely that both teams shoot anywhere close to that well in this one. Note these two teams played at Philadelphia on 3/2 and combined for only 209 points.
UNDER is 16-5 in the Hornets last 21 games when revenging a home loss of 10 or more and 14-3 in their last 17 road games after playing each of their previous 3 games on the road. UNDER is also 19-5 in the 76ers last 24 home games after a game with a combined score of 235 or more and 9-2 in their last 11 vs a team with a losing record. Take the UNDER 223!
