Looking for a big night tonight......

(NBA)

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS (-5)
This spread just seems to low, especially considering the Warriors are playing like world champs once again and Houston has cooled somewhat.  Let's start with Golden State, as they have quietly put together 5 straight wins overall, with each of those wins coming by 11+ points or more.  They are fresh off high-profile blowouts over Cleveland and Oklahoma State, so perhaps their may be a bit of a let-down factor in this one.  But we don't expect it.  After dropping 6 straight against the spread, they have now won 3 straight for their backers and they are now 5-3-1 ATS in their L9 games when playing as a favorite of less than double-digits.  They have posted a 9-2 ML record over their L11 on the road, while managing to win by 6 points or more in 8 of those contests.  In fact, within their 16-3 ML record on the road overall this season, they have posted 14 wins by 6 points or more.  There should also be a bit of a revenge factor in this game for the Warriors, as the Rockets have already dished Golden State a loss in their only meeting this season, a 132-127 2OT thriller, although Golden State knocked the Rockets out of the playoffs last season with a 4-1 series trouncing.  In fact, the Warriors now hold a 16-3 ML record against the Rockets over the L19 meetings between the two teams, which actually includes a 8-1 ML record against them in their L9 regular season meetings.  Not too mention, they are now 8-2 ML and ATS in the L10 regular season meetings as well.  Houston is coming in off a win against an improved Milwaukee squad, but they have gone 2-3 ML and ATS over their L5 games, with their only other win coming against the lowly Nets.  Roll with the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS in tonight's showdown.....

INDIANA PACERS (-3.5)
This is clearly a match-up between two teams playing on different levels right now with Indiana in the midst of a nice little run and the Lakers on a downward spiral once again. The once storied franchise has now dropped to 0-5 ML and ATS in their L5 games overall, losing each of those contests by 5 points or more, and the first 3 losses in that stretch in blowout fashion.  They have also lost 3 straight against the Pacers and are 1-6 ML and 3-3-1 ATS, although their 3 ATS wins came as underdogs of +9 points or larger.  Indiana has also posted a 5-1 ML and ATS record in the L6 meetings played in La La land as well and with the way they have been rolling lately, we have to give them the edge here again tonight.  Indiana has won 2 straight coming into tonight's meeting, while also holding a 6-1 ML mark over their L7.  They are 5-2 ATS in that span.  Go with the INDIANA PACERS in this one.....

PHILADELPHIA 76'ERS (+2.5)
We are rolling with the Sixers as a small home dog once again here tonight and all expectations are that they are the hotter team and should pull off the outright victory.  As we just saw with their home win over Toronto the other day, this team is much improved and are a team to be reckoned with when playing with Embiid and a healthy lineup.  The Sixers have once again won 2 straight games and are 5-1 ML in their L6 overall.  That's right, folks, the Philadelphia Sixers have won 5-out-of-6 games.  They have actually been even better for a longer stretch, holding a 7-2 ML record over their L9 games to go along with a very profitable 8-1 ATS mark in that same span.  They have been money at home lately as well, posting a perfect 4-0 ML and ATS mark in their L4 games played in their home arena, while also being listed as the underdog in each of those 4 games.  Philadelphia has also posted a 5-1 ML record in their L6 games played in Philly, and they have also been a legitimate home underdog to back this season, with an 11-4 ATS mark in their L15 games played when getting the points on their own home turf.  The Sixers have been a good team to back when the spread is low in their favor too, as they have a perfect 3-0 ML and ATS mark when the spread is listed anywhere from +1 to +2 for them.  Even better, when Philadelphia has been listed as the underdog this season by less than a +5 spread, they are dominating the bookies for their backers, with an 8-1 ATS mark in the L9 games in the situation, while also posting a 9-2 ATS record in the 11 times it has happened this season.  Portland is coming in off 3 straight losses against the likes of Charlotte, Washington and Orlando and come in to tonight having dropped 3-of-their-L4 on the road overall.  They have also managed to drop 3-of-the-L4 with them listed as a road favorite and are 2-4 ML and ATS in their L6 when laying the points on the road.  The Trailblazers have been dismal on Friday night's in recent weeks, putting together a 1-5 ATS mark in their L6 games played on the day.  Meanwhile, Philadelphia has also been the better team to back in the series in recent meetings, as the Sixers have gone 4-1 ATS in the L5 meetings between the two squads and 3-1-1 ATS in the L5 meetings played in Philadelphia.  Take the PHILADELPHIA 76'ERS as the home underdog here tonight......

MANHATTAN JASPERS (+14)
This spread just seems a tad too high, especially considering the way the Jaspers have managed to hang with the Hawks in recent meetings between the two schools.  The two schools have met 6 times since 2013 and Manhattan has come out on top at a 5-1 ML clip in those 6 meetings, while also cashing for their backers at a 5-1 ATS clip as well.  That includes last year's loss, 79-70, in which they were also listed as the +13.5 dog.  In fact, they have been listed as the underdog in each of the last 3 contests versus Monmouth and have posted a 2-1 ML and 3-0 ATS record in those games.  Monmouth does come into this one having won 4 straight overall, however, each of their L3 wins have come by 7 points or less.  Although they are 5-1 ML in their L6 games played on their home court, they have only managed to win one of those games by more than 10 points and they have a 2-3 ATS record.  On the flip side, Manhattan has currently lost 5-out-of-6 on the road, yet only one of those losses came by more than 14 points.  Roll with the MANHATTAN JASPERS in tonight's meeting.......

GREEN BAY PHOENIX (-10.5)
The Phoenix let us down last time out, but don't expect it again tonight against a Youngstown State team that is currently burning money for their backers at a 1-10 ATS mark in their L11 overall. The Penguins have dropped 3 straight overall and have posted a 1-5 ML record over their L6.  They have been equally as bad on the road lately as well, posting a 1-5 ML and ATS record over their L6 away from home.  Not only that, but they are being blown out in virtually every way lately, with 7-of-their-L8 losses coming by 13 points or more, including all but 2 of their losses on the road.  The Phoenix will undoubtedly be looking to rebound here tonight and this team had won 7 straight prior to the loss at Valparaiso in their last game.  They have picked it up a notch lately, winning at a 5-1 ML tune in their L6 games at home, with 3 of the L4 there coming by 9 or more and two of those coming by 17 or more.  Green Bay is also 8-1 ML and 6-3 ATS in the L9 meetings between the two schools, with all but 1 of the L7 match-ups being decided by 13 points or more.  Go with the GREEN BAY PHOENIX on their home court......

OAKLAND GOLDEN GRIZZLIES (-3)
Like the Grizzlies in this spot and think they should come away with a nice easy win here.  Go with OAKLAND.....
