Idaho is a hard team to back when you look at the Vandals' record, both straight-up and ATS. But Eastern Washington is no powerhouse and shouldn't be favored by this much. In my simulations, the Vandals are covering 65 percent of the time; I'm projecting them to lose by only eight.

This meager total is an obvious byproduct of the game featuring two of the top defensive clubs in the country. However, these rivals also know the best way to attack the opposition is to get in transition and in finding quick shots before the defense sets. Both are better offensively than perception suggests, and they combined for 150 points in the first meeting. The Hokies and Cavaliers also tend to come back strong after a flat performance and both were below par in victories Saturday.
