The first game of this series ended in a Push at 206, so oddsmakers left it alone and sent out the same figure. Basketball bettors disagreed and have shoved the total down to 204.5. I believe this is incorrect and here is why. Though Utah has only averaged just over 98 PPG in five meetings with Houston this season, the Rockets are at over 114 PPG in those same contests. Plus, 'The Beard' and the boys are 9-1 OVER at home off three or more straight covers.

My Wednesday comp play release is to take the Over in the Jazz-Rockets series.
I have a feeling tonight Utah will make their way comfortably into the triple-digit range after being held to only 96 points on Sunday. At this time of the season, good coaches - and Quin Snyder of the Jazz qualifies - tend to make the right adjustments to aid their team, so even with Ricky Rubio still sidelined, look for Utah to boost their point total.
The last pair of series meetings have landed Under, but the 6 meetings prior had all landed Over the total.
Houston had played 3 straight Overs prior to Sunday's Game One Under, and this is typically the spot where the Rockets tend to get a little lax on the defensive end. I am speaking of when Houston plays with the series lead, as they know they have the talent enough to drain those long-range three-balls when they need to.
This game is a little looser on defense, and it also sees Utah settle in after the quick turnaround from their first round series against the Thunder.
