MIAMI, FL (ATS Consultants) – The Heat will look to even up their best of seven series with the Spurs tonight when they host San Antonio in Game 2 of the NBA Finals at 8:00PM ET.

ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Heat as 6-point favorites over the Spurs, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 187.5. San Antonio beat Miami outright as a 4.5-point underdog in Game 1 of this series on Thursday night.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Heat opened as a 5-point favorite but the spread has been bet up to 6 at most online and Las Vegas sports books. As for the total, it opened at 187.5 and is either listed at that number or 188, depending on what sports book you view.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 58% of NBA public bettors currently favor the San Antonio. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided to get the most updated public betting numbers.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Miami. According to latest NBA trends, Miami is 9-2 ATS last 11 following an ATS loss, 13-3 ATS last 16 following a SU loss, 19-7 ATS last 26 Sunday games and 4-1 ATS last 5 NBA Championship games.

The Spurs took advantage of Miami's lack of rest and pounced on them in the fourth quarter. Despite LeBron James recording a triple-double (18 points, 18 rebounds, 10 assists), the Heat weren't able to finish a game they led most of the way. Now both teams have two days off instead of the nine that the Spurs had after sweeping Memphis on May 27.  San Antonio also couldn't play any better in terms of taking care of the basketball as they committed just four turnovers. Miami, with a little more energy, should be able to pressure the basketball more, especially when Tony Parker is out of the game. The bottom line is that Miami hasn't lost two straight games in five months and this is a must-win game. If the Spurs win, they can sweep the series at home or win two of three in the 2-3-2 series format. Either way, they need better performances from Chris Bosh, who shot just 6-of-16 from the field and was 0-for-4 from beyond the arc. Miami outrebounded San Antonio by nine but had just nine fastbreak points. Expect the Heat to run more in game 2.
