Monday's NHL Betting Notes
Covers.com

New Jersey Devils at Toronto Maple Leafs (-113, 5)

Probable starting goaltenders: Johan Hedberg (NJ), James Reimer (TOR)

The Devils haven’t won since goaltender Martin Brodeur suffered a back injury. Johan Hedberg has yielded 19 goals in his last five starts in place of the future Hall of Famer (0-4-1). The Devils have won their last three visits to Toronto, all in overtime. The Maple Leafs recovered from a lackluster 5-2 home loss to Montreal on Wednesday with a 5-4 overtime win at the Islanders on Thursday. Their home record is just 4-5-0 on the season and the road team is 4-0 in the last four meetings.

Tampa Bay Lightning at Pittsburgh Penguins (-150, 6)

Probable starting goaltenders: Mathieu Garon (TB), Marc-Andre Fleury (PIT)

The Tampa Bay Lightning are in the midst of a free fall in the Eastern Conference standings, having recorded only one victory in their last six contests. The Lightning return to the place their four-game losing streak started when they visit the Penguins in a game between the league’s top two offenses. The Lightning allowed the first three goals en route to a 5-3 setback at Pittsburgh on Feb. 24. Penguins F Evgeni Malkin (concussion) is expected to return to the lineup. The Russian has 11 points in his last three games against the Lightning.

Anaheim Ducks at Phoenix Coyotes (-101, 5)

Probable starting goaltenders: Viktor Fasth (ANA), Mike Smith (PHX)

These teams will be playing the middle contest of a rare three-game head-to-head set. Phoenix took the opener 5-4 in a shootout in the desert Saturday. The Ducks, who are 8-1-1 in their last 10 contests, are playing three straight games against the same opponent for the first time in franchise history. Anaheim has gone 9-for-18 on the power play over its last six games. The home team is 5-1 in the last six meetings.

Nashville Predators at Los Angeles Kings (-149, 5)

Probable starting goaltenders: Pekka Rinne (NSH), Jonathan Quick (LAK)

The Predators have lost four of their last five contests overall, scoring a total of two goals in the defeats. Los Angeles, which is kicking off a five-game homestand, had its five-game winning streak snapped Saturday as it suffered a 5-2 loss to the Canucks in Vancouver. The five goals were the most allowed by the Kings since a 7-4 setback at Anaheim on Feb. 2, ending a stretch of 11 consecutive contests in which they yielded three tallies or less. The reigning Stanley Cup champions lost their previous two meetings with the Predators this season, falling 2-1 in a shootout at home on Jan. 31 before being blanked 3-0 in Nashville on Feb. 7. The Kings are 7-0 in their last seven Monday games.

NHL odds and betting guide - Kings home favorites against Predators
By: The Linemakers
Sportingnews.com

The Los Angeles Kings look to get back in the win column Monday night at home against the Nashville Predators. The Kings had a five-game win streak stopped in Vancouver Saturday night, but are 7-3-0 in their last ten. The Predators are just 4-5-1 in their last ten and have dropped their last two. The Kings, who are 5-1-1 at home this year, are the -150 favorites on the money line as of this writing.

Also, the Anaheim Ducks will be looking for payback against the Phoenix Coyotes. The teams met on Saturday in Glendale, Arizona, the Ducks falling, 5-4, in a shootout. Tonight’s meeting is again in Glendale, and the LVH SuperBook lists the game as a pick 'em with both teams at -105 on the money line.

There are four total games in the NHL Monday night. The other two games are in the Eastern Conference as the Devils head to Toronto to face the Maple Leafs, and the Lightning travel north to battle the Penguins.

The lines are from LVH as of about 8:00 a.m. P.T. Check our live odds boards for updated NHL lines.
