Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O'Neal will not take the floor against his former club tonight in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that O'Neal will be not be accompanying the Suns to Los Angeles due to the death of his 92-year-old grandmother. He will be attending funeral services in New Jersey.

O'Neal is averaging over 15 points and 8.4 rebounds for Phoenix this season. He scored a season-high 35 points versus the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night. The team has won back-to-back games since dropping four straight, going 1-5 ATS in this span.

There is no time set for O'Neal's return, however, the team expects him back for Friday's tilt with the Orlando Magic.
