Indian Wells, CA (Sports Network) - Defending champion Stephen Ames will be joined by Brett Wetterich, Fred Couples and Zach Johnson at the 25th annual Skins game over Thanksgiving weekend.

Ames has had a solid season this year and is currently ranked 54th on the money list. Wetterich, who played on the 2006 U.S. Ryder Cup squad, is 37th on the money list this season.

Couples, of course, is the all-time Skins leader and the all-time money winner in this event. This will mark the 14th appearance in the Skins game for the fan favorite.

Johnson claimed his first major title earlier this year when he held off Tiger Woods to win the Masters. He also won the AT&T Classic and stands seventh on the money list.

The event shifts away from Trilogy Golf Club to a new venue as this year's event will be contested on the new Celebrity Course at Indian Wells Golf Resort.

Ames, who was making his first appearance in this event last year, birdied the third playoff hole to beat Couples and take home eight skins and $590,000. Couples claimed more skins, nine, and collected $385,000. John Daly picked up the final skin and $25,000, while 2005 winner Fred Funk was shutout.

The event will have nine holes televised on both November 24th and 25th. LG Electronics is in the second year of a three-year agreement as title sponsor.
