Montreal Canadiens DFS Spin
The break in Montreal's schedule has allowed Cole Caufield to take a step back from "all the noise." Caufield went into this season with extremely high expectations attached to him, but he's been limited to a goal and seven points in 26 contests. Part of the reason for his struggles might be because the 21-year-old has been adjusting to life in the NHL and all the attention that comes with it. Caufield is learning to adjust to that. “I think you just stay off social media,” Caufield said. “I think that’s kind of the big thing these days. One night people love you, the next night they’re just looking to throw hate. So you kind of just got to stay level-headed and stay within yourself and just listen to the people that want to help you and see you succeed." The Canadiens will play on Wednesday for the first time since Jan. 1 and the break has allowed him to take a step back and return fresh. It will be interesting to see how he does when Montreal's schedule resumes.
Boston Bruins DFS Spin
Matt Grzelcyk had an amazing night against Washington. Grzelcyk scored a goal and registered four assists to lead the Bruins to a 7-3 win over the Capitals Monday night. That's by far his best game of the season. By contrast to his five-point night, he had just eight points in 31 contests going into Monday's game. Grzelcyk is a decent, but not great defenseman offensive and you shouldn't expect another night like this out of him in 2021-22.
