NFL Week 17 Injury Report
The NFL Injury Report for Week 17 has a lot of big names that could miss some pretty important games. Here’s a look at the latest on who may sit today.
Conner probable, Brown questionable
The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to get running back James Conner back this week from his ankle injury, but receiver Antonio Brown is questionable due to a knee injury. The Steelers have a must-win game today at home against Cincinnati at 4:25PM ET. According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Steelers are listed as a 14.5-point favorite against the Bengals. Conner returned to practice all week while Brown missed Thursday and Friday to earn the questionable tag. Conner has rushed for 909 yards and 12 touchdowns this year and also has 467 receiving yards. Brown has 104 catches for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Gurley to sit out for the Rams
The Los Angeles Rams will again be without stud running back Todd Gurley, as the Rams play host to the San Francisco 49ers. Los Angeles needs a win to secure the second seed in the NFC. According to oddsmakers, the Rams are listed as a 10.5-point favorite at home against the 49ers today. Gurley has rushed for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground while catching 59 passes for 580 yards and four scores. C.J. Anderson had a big game last week in place of Gurley, as he rushed for 167 yards and a score on 20 carries.
Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota is dealing with a stinger that he suffered last week and he is questionable to play in tonight’s game with the Indianapolis Colts at 8:20PM ET. Mariota has been limited late in the week in practice, and many Sunday reports have him sitting out today. Oddsmakers are listing the Colts as a 3-point favorite on the road against the Titans tonight, as the winner will advance to the playoffs. Mariota has thrown for 2,528 yards and 11 touchdowns with eight interceptions this year. He has also rushed for 357 yards and two scores. Blaine Gabbert will get the start if Mariota can't play.
