Le’Veon Bell collected 72 yards on 25 carries along with four catches for 21 yards on four targets Sunday in the Jets’ Week 16 win over the Steelers. Bell's much-anticipated #RevengeGame against his former team was largely uneventful. The Steelers stymied him on the ground, holding Bell to a sluggish 2.9 yards per carry with a long run of 11 yards. Sixteen of his season-high 25 carries came after halftime. Patient almost to a fault, Bell bit off more than he could chew trying to salvage a second-quarter run that was doomed from the start, losing 11 on the play. Mired in a four-game touchdown drought, Bell will put a bow on what has been an underwhelming debut season in the Big Apple when the Jets conclude their 2019 campaign at Buffalo in Week 17.

Buffalo Bills Fantasy Spin

Cole Beasley caught 7-of-12 targets for 108 yards in the Bills' Week 16 loss to the Patriots. Usually a tough matchup for receivers, Beasley found himself in a favorable one against a backup slot corner. Josh Allen opted to lock in on Beasley because of it, and they had nice results. Beasley was a chain mover, consistently finding open space within 15 yards of the line of scrimmage. If Allen was more accurate, Beasley could've had an even bigger game. Beasley should close the season with another nice stat line with the Jets on deck.

The Jets are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven trips to Buffalo but the underdog has cashed in 20 of the previous 28 meetings between these two teams.

NFL Week 17 Prediction

I’m just going to assume that Josh Allen and the rest of Buffalo’s starters will play at least a half before heading to the bench in the second half in efforts to keep everyone healthy ahead of wild card weekend. The Jets, meanwhile, are coming off an emotional win over the Steelers and I see a major letdown for Gang Green, even if they wind up facing Buffalo’s backups in the second half. The Jets are just 7-17-1 against the spread in their last 25 games as a road underdog, are 3-8-1 against the number in their last 12 games following a win and are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 divisional matchups.
