Chicago Bears Fantasy Spin

Allen Robinson caught 6-of-12 targets for 53 yards in Week 16 against the Chiefs. Robinson got behind the Chiefs secondary for what would have been a long touchdown but was overthrown by Mitchell Trubisky. There wasn't much he could do in a game Trubisky threw for only 157 yards, but he still managed to led Chicago in receiving. Robinson continued to make contested catches in traffic, something he’s done as good as any receiver this season. Robinson had at least 100 yards or a touchdown in four straight weeks going into tonight. He'll try to rebound in a Week 17 matchup with the Vikings.

Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Spin

Sean Mannion will start Week 17 against Chicago. This was expected with the Vikings locked into the No. 6 seed. The Vikings don't want to risk Kirk Cousins to injury in a meaningless game. Minnesota has also ruled out Dalvin Cook (shoulder) and LB Erik Kendricks (quad).

The Bears are a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five meetings with the Vikings.

Minnesota

The home team has covered the number in six of the previous eight meetings between these two teams while the underdog is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings.

NFL Week 17 Prediction

The Vikings aren’t playing for anything having been locked into the sixth seed in the NFC playoff picture by virtue of their loss Monday night to the Packers. With Mannion under center and starters like Dalvin Cook and Erik Kendricks also ruled out, the only play here is the Bears. As previously noted, Chicago is a perfect 5-0 against the spread in its last five meetings with Minnesota and Matt Nagy is not resting starters with nothing on the line for the Bears. Their front four should dominant a Vikings offensive line that put together a horrendous effort against the Packers in Week 16. The Bears are 9-3 against the spread in their last 12 divisional games while the Vikings are 1-6 against the number in their last seven games as an underdog.
