Titans vs. Packers, 12/27/20 NFL Week 16 Betting Predictions

On Sunday night, the Packers will host the Titans at 8:20 p.m. ET and are only laying a field goal to Derrick Henry and Co. Is Green Bay a safe bet to cash or will 10-4 Tennessee pick up the small upset and stay ahead of Indianapolis in the AFC South?

Tennessee Titans DFS Spin

Ryan Tannehill completed 21-of-27 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns in the Titans' 46-25, Week 15 win over the Lions, rushing three times for 21 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Derrick Henry got the scoring started for Tennessee with an opening-drive three-yard touchdown run, but it was all Tannehill after that, throwing a 75-yard touchdown to Corey Davis on the next possession thanks to some shoddy tackling from S Duron Harmon. Tannehill then kept it with a 17-yard touchdown run in the second frame before accounting for three touchdowns in the final quarter. Tannehill rushed for a three-yard score, hit A.J. Brown for a two-yarder, and then tossed a three-yarder to backup RB Darrynton Evans. Tannehill is just adding to his new career high with 31 touchdown passes now and will likely get some MVP votes. The Titans wrap up the season with road games at Green Bay and Houston. Tannehill is an every-week QB1 ahead of the Week 16 date with the Packers.

Green Bay Packers DFS Spin

Aaron Rodgers completed 20-of-29 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' 24-16 win over the Panthers in Week 15. The yardage total is the lowest of Rodgers' season, eclipsing his mid-October 160-yard effort against the Bucs. The Packers opened with three straight touchdown drives, including a six-yard rushing score by Rodgers, but the Panthers' defense surprisingly locked up the Packers' offense after that, forcing a punt in six of the team's next seven drives. A major factor? The Panthers' pass rush, as Rodgers was sacked five times in this game, a rarity which prevented Rodgers from working his typical magic and find narrow passing lanes to rifle rockets into. Still, two touchdowns on a "down" fantasy day is difficult to complain about. Rodgers is an easy QB1 against the Titans in Week 16.

Titans vs. Packers Sunday Night Football Prediction

The underdog is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams, while the Titans are 4-1 against the number in their last five games overall. Tennessee is also 4-1 against the spread in its last five games as a road underdog, is 5-2 against the number in its last seven games as an underdog of any kind and is 7-1 ATS in its last eight road games versus an opponent that owns a winning home record.

On the other side, the Packers are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games coming off a win and are winless at the betting window in their last four games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous contest.
