Seahawks vs. Chiefs Spread Prediction
A critical matchup between non-conference rivals will take place tonight when the Seattle Seahawks host the Kansas City Chiefs on “Sunday Night Football.” Listed as a small home dog, will the Seahawks pull off the upset versus the Chiefs?
Game Snapshot

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Chiefs are 2-point favorites to beat the Chiefs. The total, meanwhile, sits at 55 points. As of this writing, 52% of the public betting tickets are on the Chiefs to cover the point spread.
Kansas City Chiefs
Spencer Ware (hamstring) is doubtful for Week 16 against the Seahawks. Despite getting in limited practice work this week, it doesn't look like Ware will be ready for Sunday night's game in Seattle. With Ware headed for another absence, Damien Williams will again handle workhorse responsibilities for KC. Coming off a two-touchdown breakout last week against the Chargers, Williams can be trusted as a solid RB2 versus the Seahawks.
Seattle Seahawks
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed WLB K.J. Wright (knee) will play in Week 16 against the Chiefs. Wright wasn't even listed on the final injury report. He's expected to play limited snaps in his first game since Week 10, but his return is an upgrade to Seattle's defense. The Seahawks are hoping to get Wright closer to an every-down role for the playoffs.
NFL Betting Trends
Kansas City
The Chiefs are 20-8-1 against the spread in their last 29 road games but are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
Seattle
The Seahawks are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six home games and are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Prediction
The Seahawks have the type of team that could frustrate the explosive Chiefs. Seattle leans on a run-heavy approach and even when the Hawks do put the ball in the air, Russell Wilson has the wheels to escape trouble and pick up first downs with his legs. If Patrick Mahommes and Co. are on the sidelines all game because the struggling Kansas City defense can’t get off the field, I like Seattle to pull off the small upset. It’s hard to win this time of year in Seattle when the Seahawks are a playoff contender.
