NFL Week 16 Injury Report
The NFL Injury Report for Week 16 has plenty of big names to keep an eye on. Here’s the latest news on who may not be able to suit up on Sunday.
Gurley questionable
The Los Angeles Rams haven’t been playing their best as of late and they could be without stud running back Todd Gurley for today’s 4:05PM ET kickoff at Arizona. According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Rams are listed as a heavy 14-point road favorite against the Cardinals. Gurley suffered a knee injury in last week’s loss to the Eagles and home and he hasn’t been able to practice a great deal this week. He is listed as a game-time decision for Sunday. Gurley has rushed for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns this season while catching 59 passes for 580 yards and four more scores.
Jones questionable for Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons hit the road today to face the Carolina Panthers at 1PM ET. The Falcons could be suiting up without receiver Julio Jones, who is battling a hip injury that had him limited at practice. According to oddsmakers, the Falcons are listed as a 3-point favorite on the road against the Panthers, who will be resting Cam Newton. Jones missed practice all week but was able to have limited participation on Friday. He has caught 100 passes for 1,511 yards and six touchdowns on the year for Atlanta.
Gordon suspended again
The New England Patriots lost their leading receiver for the season this week as Josh Gordon was suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating terms of his conditional reinstatement. The Patriots are hosting the Buffalo Bills today at 1PM ET and oddsmakers are listing them as a 13.5-point favorite at home. The Pats have been banged up at receiver all season and Gordon leads the team in receiving yards with 720. He caught 40 passes with three touchdowns in his short time with the Pats.
