Colts vs. Giants Spread Prediction
The Colts are still on the outside looking in at a playoff spot in the AFC and with the Ravens beating the Chargers on Saturday, they really need a win Sunday versus the visiting Giants. Will Indy cover as nearly a double-digit favorite?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Colts are 9.5-point favorites to beat the Giants. The total, meanwhile, sits at 48 points. As of this writing, 52% of the public betting tickets are on the Giants to cover the point spread.
New York Giants
Giants MLB Alec Ogletree (concussion) is out for Week 16 against the Colts. Ogletree played all 70 snaps last week against the Titans but popped up with concussion symptoms and will miss this week's date with Marlon Mack. Ogletree is Pro Football Focus' second-worst inside linebacker out of 61 qualifiers but has made some plays in the pass game with five picks.
Indianapolis Colts
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Colts are hoping T.Y. Hilton (questionable, ankle) will play Week 16 against the Giants. Hilton isn't 100 percent, but he did more in practice this week than he did leading up to Week 15. Barring a setback in warmups, he should play through his ankle injury for the second straight game. Hilton is a WR2 against a middling Giants secondary.
NFL Betting Trends
New York
The Giants are a perfect 6-0 against the spread in their last six road games and are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Indianapolis
The Colts are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five home games and are 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games overall.
Prediction
Be careful backing teams that need to win to get into the playoffs, especially versus opponents that are completely out of contention. The Colts have everything to play for, which means they also could come out tight. While it’s also true the Giants could lay over while attempting to merely get through the final two weeks of the season, they should also play loose. Eli Manning has been a better road quarterback this season and with Saquon Barkley carving up most opponents, I’ll take a flier on the underdog.
