Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Spin
Dak Prescott (shoulder) wasn't listed on the Cowboys' final injury report. Prescott will start for the team's season-defining Week 16 matchup against the Eagles. The offense might have to rely on his arm if the Eagles' pass-funnel defense is able to stop the run. Still, the Cowboys have managed to rush for 187, 129, 171, 142 and most recently 189 yards in five games against their NFC East rival with Ezekiel Elliott active since 2016. The Cowboys-Eagles' matchup presently boasts a fairly high 46.5 point game total.
Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin
Nelson Agholor (knee) is questionable for the Eagles' Week 16 matchup against the Cowboys. Agholor has been listed as questionable for the last few weeks before inevitably being downgraded to out come Saturday. He didn't practice all week and isn't expected to suit up Sunday. Expect to see plenty of two-TE sets out of this offense. Backup WR Robert Davis (21% snaps in Week 15) worked well behind both Zach Ertz (88%) and Dallas Goedert (84%) during the Eagles' win over the Redskins.
NFL Betting Trends
Dallas
The Cowboys are 16-5 against the spread in their last 21 games versus NFC East division rivals.
Philadelphia
The Eagles have failed to cover in five of their last seven games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous contest.
Prediction
The Cowboys have covered the spread in six of their last seven trips to Philly and are a perfect 4-0 against the number in their last four games versus the Eagles overall. The road team is also 11-5 at the betting window in the last 16 meetings between these two teams, while the favorite has covered in seven of the previous eight meetings. The Eagles are extremely banged-up offensively, down damn near all of their receivers as well as right tackle Lane Johnson. The Cowboys might be able to use last week’s win over the Rams as a momentum-builder for the final two weeks of the season.
