Rams vs. 49ers Saturday Prediction
The 49ers are now laying seven points to the Rams tonight as a home favorite in a key NFC West matchup at 8:15 p.m. ET. Is that too many points to lay with the home team coming off a loss as a double-digit favorite?

Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Spin
Todd Gurley rushed 11 times for 20 yards and a touchdown, adding three catches for 18 yards and another score in Los Angeles' Week 15 loss to Dallas. Five of Gurley's 11 carries occurred during Los Angeles' first three drives. The Rams mustered just five plays over their next two possessions, eventually being forced to dropback and call pass on every down while trailing 28-7 to begin the third quarter. It's still shocking the Cowboys were able to bottle Gurley to a season-low in yards without LB Leighton Vander Esch (neck) available. Fortunately for fantasy players, he was able to tack on a meaningless touchdown run with 3:23 remaining in the fourth quarter to pad his stats. Gurley's faced with a tough test against the Niners in Week 16 but will remain a usage-based RB2.
San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Spin
Emmanuel Sanders caught 7-of-9 targets for 157 yards and one touchdown in the 49ers' Week 14 win over the Saints, adding a 35-yard passing touchdown. Sanders had a couple chunk plays early in this one before then catching a 75-yard touchdown on what was terrible coverage by DB Marcus Williams. Sanders caught the downfield lob, fell down, and still had enough time to get back up and run it into the end zone. He also tossed a touchdown to Raheem Mostert on a trick play the Saints nearly blew up in the backfield. It was a huge rebound game for Sanders after he'd been held to 41 scoreless yards or fewer in four straight games. Sanders will be a WR2 next week at home against the Falcons.

Prediction
I trust the Niners to rebound from their heartbreaking loss to the Falcons last week, more than I trust the Rams to rebound from their ugly performance defeat in Dallas. The Cowboys were struggling more than any other playoff contender in the NFL heading into last week’s matchup with the Rams and they took it to L.A. from the jump. Jared Goff’s final numbers looked fine, but he did not play well and continues to play poorly on the road. He’s also now dealing with a thumb injury that could impact him for tonight’s matchup and he struggled against the Niners mightily in the first meeting between these two teams. I’m laying the points.
