Oakland Raiders Fantasy Spin

Derek Carr completed 22-of-36 passes for 267 yards and a touchdown while adding one carry for 12 yards Sunday in Oakland’s Week 15 loss to the Jaguars. The Jaguars' pass-rush hounded him all day, dropping the sixth-year QB for four sacks, resulting in a combined loss of 31 yards. Carr got off to a hot start, finding Tyrell Williams for a 40-yard touchdown on the Raiders' opening drive. Unfortunately the rest of his day was slim pickings as the Raiders inexplicably squandered a 13-point, second-half lead in their Oakland finale. Carr had a chance to be the hero late but came up empty on his two Hail Mary attempts. The only receiver he showed any semblance of chemistry with was tight end Darren Waller, who was responsible for 122 of Carr's 267 yards passing. A season that once seemed so promising has quickly gone up in flames as the rapidly-imploding Raiders will take a four-game losing skid into next week's road tilt with the Chargers.

Los Angeles Chargers Fantasy Spin

Philip Rivers completed 28-of-39 passes for 307 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in the Chargers' 39-10, Week 15 loss to the Vikings. The Chargers turned the ball over seven times, with Melvin Gordon losing a pair of fumbles and Hunter Henry one as well. Rivers has been horrific of late with 12 interceptions over his last five games. He needs to be benched if we're being honest. The interceptions are just dead ducks down the field, giving defenders all the time in the world to run under the ball and pick it off. Rivers gets a plus draw at "home" against the Raiders next week, but he's hard to trust.
