Detroit Lions Fantasy Spin

David Blough completed 24-of-43 passes for 260 yards and two interceptions in Detroit's Week 15 loss to the Bucs. The undrafted rookie really 'Blough' it any time the Lions got anything going. He did notably turn a 24-3 dud after the intermission into a one-score contest in the fourth quarter due to his ability to extend plays with his legs and find both Danny Amendola and Chris Lacy for 56- and 46-yard gains, but Blough's 70-yard pick-six with less than three minutes remaining deflated any hope Detroit had been clinging on to. With a 57.8 percent completion rate and six turnovers through three starts, Blough's interim stint obviously lacks any pizzazz and has ultimately run its course. Fantasy players should cross their fingers he can somehow keep Kenny Golladay (3/44) relevant in a date opposite Chris Harris in Denver next week.

Denver Broncos Fantasy Spin

Drew Lock completed 18-of-40 passes for 208 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception in the Broncos' 23-3, Week 15 loss to the Chiefs. Lock made a few impressive throws in the first half that showed off the rookie’s tantalizing arm talent and potential to create positive plays off script. Still, he also made a number of bad decisions, notably under throwing his interception on an attempt to hit Noah Fant across the field in the end zone. The good news for the young Broncos QB is that an appealing Week 16 matchup against the Lions awaits. Lock isn’t a realistic fantasy option in single-QB leagues and shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a low-end QB2, but he’s proven capable of enabling both Noah Fant and Courtland Sutton to solid fantasy production.
