NFL Week 15 Injury Report

NFL Week 15 Injury Report: Wentz, Conner out for Sunday 12/16/18

The NFL Injury Report for Week 15 is overflowing with big names. Here’s a look at who will be out for today’s action.

Carson Wentz out for Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles lost Carson Wentz late in the 2017 season and still managed to make a run to the Super Bowl. Today, they find themselves without Wentz again as they get set to face the Rams in Los Angeles at 8:20PM ET. According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Rams are listed as a heavy 13-point favorite for today’s game against the Eagles. Wentz is dealing with a back injury that could keep him out multiple weeks which means Nick Foles will be back under center for Philly today. Wentz missed the first few games to start the season as he recovered from the knee injury he suffered nearly a year ago. He has thrown for 3,074 yards and 21 touchdowns this season. Foles has thrown for 451 yards in his action this season, but hasn’t shown that same ability we saw in last year’s playoffs.

Steelers still without Conner

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without star running back James Conner once again when they play host to the New England Patriots today at 4:25PM ET. Conner suffered an ankle injury two weeks ago against the Chargers and was unable to return. The injury was severe enough to keep him out of today’s game as well. Oddsmakers are listing the Steelers as a 2.5-point underdog at home against the Patriots. Conner has rushed for 909 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 52 passes for 467 yards and a score. Pittsburgh lost to the Raiders last week without him as the team finished with just 40 rushing yards on 19 carries.

Beckham out again

The New York Giants will be without Odell Beckham Jr. for a second consecutive week as well as they get set to host the Tennessee Titans at 1PM ET. The Giants are being listed as a 1-point underdog at home against Tennessee. Beckham is dealing with a quad injury that the Giants aren’t looking to test too hard given their current record. Beckham has caught 77 passes for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns. He also has thrown for two touchdown passes this season. The Giants looked just fine without him last week, as they rolled at Washington for a 40-16 win.
