Jaguars vs. Raiders Spread Prediction
The Raiders are firmly on the outside looking in at a playoff spot but have a good opportunity to add to their win column when they host the struggling Jaguars at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday. That said, will Oakland cover as a sizable favorite?

Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Spin
D.J. Chark (ankle) is out for Week 15 against the Raiders. Chark never came close to playing this week. The jury is still out on whether he makes it back for the Jags' final two games. Dede Westbrook, Chris Conley and Keelan Cole will serve as Gardner Minshew's primary targets in Week 15.
Oakland Raiders Fantasy Spin
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms Josh Jacobs (questionable, shoulder) is "good to go" for Week 15 against the Jaguars. After missing the previous week with a fractured shoulder, Jacobs will be on hand for the Raider's home finale (their final game in Oakland ahead of next year's move to Las Vegas) Sunday versus Jacksonville. Jacobs returns to a glorious matchup against a Jags run defense that has yielded 100-yard rushing performances to Carlos Hyde, Jonathan Williams, Marlon Mack, Derrick Henry and Austin Ekeler over their current five-game losing streak. Even at less than full strength, Jacobs belongs in all lineups as a surefire RB1. DeAndre Washington will be relegated to a supporting role after carrying the load in last week's loss to Tennessee.
NFL Betting Trends
Jacksonville
The Jaguars are winless against the spread in their last five games as an underdog and are 1-5 against the number in their last six games in December.
Oakland
The Raiders are winless against the spread in their last four games overall but have covered the number in seven of their last 10 home games.
Prediction
I’m not surprised that after a mini hot streak in the middle of the season, the Raiders have fallen apart. That said, I trust Oakland more than Jacksonville. The Jaguars are a mess, dropping five straight, including last week’s blowout loss to the Chargers, 45-10. Even worse, the Jaguars are also 0-5 against the spread over that span, failing to cover as 1-point favorites (vs. Texans in London), 2.5-point underdogs (at Indy), 4.5-point underdogs (at Titans), 3-point underdogs (vs. Bucs) and 3.5-point underdogs (vs. Chargers). Doug Marrone is likely gone in three weeks while the Raiders still have slim hopes to make the playoffs. I’ll take Oakland.
