Matt Ryan completed 20-of-34 passes for 314 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' Week 14 win over the Panthers. The Falcons moved up and down the field with ease against a deflated Panthers defense. Ryan got the day started with a touchdown strike to Calvin Ridley, who was unfortunately carted to the locker room with an abdomen injury. That didn't slow him down, however. Ryan found an undrafted free agent for a 93-yard touchdown in the second half to seal the win. The Falcons offense continues to post strong offensive numbers despite the lost season. That could change with a road matchup against the 49ers on deck.

San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Spin

Jimmy Garoppolo completed 26-of-35 passes for 349 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception in the 49ers' 48-46, Week 14 win over the Saints. This was the game of the year to date. Both teams traded back-and-forth blows with the Niners big-playing the Saints to death. San Francisco had handfuls of 20-plus yards plays as Garoppolo averaged a crisp 10 yards per attempt. His first and fourth touchdowns were red-zone hookups with Kendrick Bourne, the second a 75-yard lob to Emmanuel Sanders who fell down and got back up to run it into the end zone, and Garoppolo's third score came from five yards out to George Kittle. Garoppolo got the ball back with 53 seconds left and down 46-45. He hit Kittle on 4th-and-2 for 39 yards with Kittle channeling his inner beast mode on the catch-and-run to set up the game-winning field goal as time expired. This was Garoppolo's signature win to this point in his career. The 11-2 Niners host the Falcons in Week 15.

Prediction

I have no doubt that the Niners will move the ball at will against Dan Quinn’s poorly schemed defense, but I do have concerns that Matt Ryan and Co. will contribute enough points to push the combined score over the total. Atlanta’s pass protection is dog shit on the right side and rookie Nick Bosa should feast. That will make it problematic for the Falcons to establish any sort of offensive rhythm and thus, I see sneaky value in the under despite the line movement indicating that the over is the play on Sunday.
