Seahawks vs. Vikings Spread Prediction
Not many people had the Seahawks vying for a playoff spot back in September but that’s exactly what Russell Wilson and Co. are doing. Tonight, the Seahawks host the Vikings as a small home favorite. Will they cash for bettors?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Seahawks are 3-point favorites to beat the Vikings. The total, meanwhile, sits at 46 points. As of this writing, 68% of the public betting tickets are on the Seahawks to cover the point spread.
Viking CB Trae Waynes (concussion) is out for Week 14 against the Seahawks. This being his second concussion of the year, it's possible Waynes doesn't suit up again for the Vikings until 2019. Holton Hill will likely start in his stead at left cornerback.
Chris Carson (finger) was removed from the Week 14 injury report. This was expected after Carson practiced fully the last two days. Carson's in a bad spot against Minnesota's top-10 run defense this week, but he'll see his normal workload.
NFL Betting Trends
The Vikings are 22-8-1 against the spread in their last 31 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
The Seahawks are 6-1-1 against the number in their last eight games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous contest.
The Vikings are just 1-4 against the number in their last five trips to Seattle while the favorite and home team is 4-1 against the number, respecitively, in the last five meetings between these two teams. Minnesota is also just 2-9 against the number in its last 11 games played on Monday night while Seattle is 3-1-1 ATS in its last five home games. I like the Hawks to continue to march towards the playoffs with their sound running game, their play-making ability at quarterback with Wilson, and their underrated defense.
