Raiders vs. Jets Week 13 Prediction
The Raiders’ postseason hopes took a massive hit last week when they were blown out by the Falcons in Atlanta. Will Las Vegas recover on Sunday when it visits the Jets at 1:00 p.m. ET? Better yet, will the Raiders cover as a sizable road favorite?
Game Snapshot
461 Las Vegas Raiders (-7.5) at 462 New York Jets (+7.5); o/u 46.5
1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday, December 6, 2020
Venue: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

Las Vegas Raiders DFS Spin
Josh Jacobs (ankle) won't play in Week 13 against the Jets. It was trending this way throughout the week since Jacobs was unable to get on the field for any amount of practice. Booker wasn’t impressive in Las Vegas’ no-show on Sunday, rushing for six yards on five carries, but Jacobs' sudden absence projects the former with a potential 20-plus touches against a Jets front-seven that has permitted the most receptions to enemy running backs (73) this year. Booker is at worst a usage-based RB2 with an RB1 ceiling as the Raiders are currently favored by -9.5 points over Adam Gase's lowly squad.
New York Jets DFS Spin
Sam Darnold has the second lowest adjusted completion rate this season, according to Pro Football Focus. Drew Lock is the only quarterback with a lower adjusted completion rate through 11 weeks. The adjusted rate accounts for dropped passes, throw aways, spiked balls, batted passes, and passes where the quarterback is hit while throwing. Darnold completed a measly 16-of-27 passes for 197 yards with two interceptions on Sunday against Miami. His 69.7 percent adjusted completion rate is about five percent lower than it was in 2019. Darnold's adjusted yards per attempt has taken a big hit too, dropping from 6.9 A/YA in 2018 and 2019 to 5.7 this season. The Jets might be better off with Joe Flacco under center for the remainder of another lost season. Darnold will be a reclamation project for whoever coaches the Jets in 2021.
Raiders vs. Jets Betting Prediction
The Raiders are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five trips to East Rutherford to play the Jets, while the home team in this series is 5-1 ATS over the last six meetings. The Raiders have also dropped six of their last seven games at the betting window after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game, which they did last Sunday to the Falcons in Atlanta. While Vegas should rebound with a straight up win, I like getting the points despite the fact the Jets are 0-11 on the year.
