Are the Giants a good bet to cover as an underdog today at the Steelers when the two teams clash at 4:25PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Steelers are 6-point home favorites versus the Giants while the over/under currently sits at 48.5 points. Pittsburgh opened as a 5.5-point favorite but the line was bet up to 6, while the total opened at 50 before dropping down a full point-and-a-half to 48.5.

They're also 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five road games, are 7-3 against the number in their last 10 games in December and are 4-0-1 at the betting window in their last five games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.

STEELERS KEY TRENDS: The Steelers are 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games in December and are 5-1 against the number in their last six games in Week 13. They're also 4-1-1 at the betting window in their last six games following a straight up win of more than 14 points.

OUR PREDICTION: This line seems inflated for no reason. The Giants are seeking their first seven-game winning streak since 2008, are playing good defense and have the offensive pieces to move the ball against an average Steelers defense. Granted, Pittsburgh can be explosive offensively but the additions the Giants made to their defense this offseason are paying dividends and they'll keep the team in the game today. I love the points here.
