The Cleveland Browns have lost Josh McCown for the season. Does this open the door for Johnny Manziel to get back on the field?

McCown suffered a broken collarbone on Monday night in the Browns’ 33-27 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Mike Pettine put in Austin Davis once McCown got hurt after moving Manziel to third string prior to the game for an off-the-field incident during the bye week. Pettine sighted Manziel needing to earn his trust back for him to get back on the field. Despite that, Pettine has yet to announce a starter for Sunday’s game with the division-leading Cincinnati Bengals.

According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, odds have yet to be set for Sunday’s game between the Browns and the Bengals as they await a starting QB announcement from Cleveland. These two meet on Sunday at 1PM ET on CBS.

Davis went 7 of 10 passing for 77 yards with a touchdown in Monday’s loss to the Ravens. It was his lone action of the season. Manziel has appeared in seven games this season, throwing for 933 yards and 76 of 128 passing. He has five touchdowns and two interceptions while also fumbling five times. Manziel has also run for 90 yards in his seven games.
