Las Vegas Raiders DFS Spin
Derek Carr completed 23-of-31 passes for 275 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Raiders' 35-31, Week 11 loss to the Chiefs Sunday night. Carr was pretty much flawless in this one, throwing his interception on his final attempt of the night on a deep heave down the left sideline. Given plenty of time to throw and taking no sacks, Carr was picking apart the Chiefs' secondary with Nelson Agholor and Darren Waller. Carr's touchdowns were a 17-yarder to Agholor, wide-open three-yarder to Waller, and one-yard hookup with Jason Witten. The Witten one gave the Raiders a 31-28 lead with 1:43 left to play. It was maybe Carr's best game of the season. He has a sterling 19:3 TD:INT mark and will be on the streaming map next week against the Falcons.
Atlanta Falcons DFS Spin
Matt Ryan completed 19-of-37 passes for 232 yards and two interceptions in Atlanta's 24-9 Week 11 loss to the Saints. One of Ryan's interceptions was admittedly a picked off Hail Mary to end the first half. New Orleans' front-seven still lived in his pocket and behind Atlanta's line of scrimmage Sunday, keeping Ryan in a permanent state of duress for eight sacks. The offense also fluttered with Julio Jones (hamstring) absent for two quarters-plus. Fantasy players have already seen Ryan and the Falcons' offense get buried without Jones available as the former finished as the QB27, QB23, and QB26 in the three games that Jones was either absent or limited for earlier this year. Ryan can be avoided against Las Vegas in Week 12 if Jones does in fact miss time.
Raiders vs. Falcons Betting Prediction
The Raiders have covered the spread in all four of their last four games, are 6-1 against the number in their last seven road games and have covered in six straight games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous contest. The Falcons, meanwhile, are just 1-4 at the betting window in their last five home games, they’ve failed to cover in four of their last five games when facing an opponent with a winning record and are coming off a game in which they scored just nine points and failed to reach the end zone. Atlanta is an easy fade.
